Daveeeeeey, Davy Crocket, man of the wild….Hudson Hornet???:
For some reason, in 1955, a number of car makers released character comic books to help promote their cars. 1955 was also the year Disney released Davy Crocket in theaters…It became wildly popular, which is probably why Hudson released their on Davy Crocket comic.
This image is from the reverse side of the comic and features Crocket with a 1955 Hudson Hornet. Historically accurate? No. Undeniably awesome? Yes!
